Eisele’s Raw Honey is in reality raw and incorporates nothing but honey. We’ve been doing this for over 35 years, and honey is all we do! Our raw honey has never heated beyond hive temperature. We take raw honey straight from the hive to the extractor and then the glass jar — no extra processing! (The extractor is a straightforward piece of equipment that uses centrifugal force to simply spin the honey out of the honeycomb — no heat or chemicals needed.) We consider our method supports the health benefits of raw honey by locking in pollen, phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids. We approach raw honey much as a fine wine maker would. Each crop year the flavor is unique, and we never mix honeys, so the flavor actually shines. Our raw honey is unfiltered, but It is a creamy white with no bee parts or debris. Because it’s unheated and unfiltered, raw honey in the end thickens to a semi-solid state.
